For the past two summers I have taught a watercolorplein air workshop with The Yosemite Conservancy inYosemite National Park. The landscapes here continue tosurprise me no matter how many times I paint them. Thispiece I made while doing a demo at Glacier Point. Thething that struck me about this location this time was thevertical nature of the composition that was before me.Half Dome looks so different from every angle, but thisone really accentuates how far above the valley itoverlooks.
