This painting originated on-site at Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park. This piece was made at the end of a week long painting trip. During this extended time in the valley I witnessed such a shift in landscape as the light changed. The granite glows in a way that is wonderful to capture with watercolor. This continuous flux is what is so inspiring to me and no matter how many times I paint this area I will always learn something new.
